What runs only if you allow it
Two groups are switched off by default and load nothing until you accept them in the banner or in the settings below:
- Measurement. Counts visits and which pages people read, so we know what to improve.
- Advertising. Lets an ad platform know that a purchase came from its ad, so we do not keep paying for ads that do not work.
As long as you have not accepted them, no script from those groups is loaded and no request is made to those companies. Refusing costs you nothing: the whole site works the same.
Changing your mind
You can also delete everything this site stored by clearing site data for this domain in your browser settings. That deletes your lesson ticks and signs you out of the lesson area, which you reopen with the link from your purchase email.
Why we ask
The ePrivacy Directive and the Portuguese Lei 41/2004 require your consent before anything that is not strictly necessary is stored on or read from your device. Strictly necessary storage does not need consent, which is why the three items in the first table are always on: without them you could not reach the lessons you paid for.
